Binks Japan

In 1887, Joseph Binks developed the first coating device for plaster applications. The following year, in 1888, Dr. Allen DeVilbiss invented the sprayer, and in 1936, Harold Landsburg obtained a patent for electrostatic spray coating, utilizing electrostatic technology. These milestones later laid the foundation for the growth of our company "Binks".

Our company was established in 1963 as Japan Ransburg Co., Ltd., through a joint investment between Ransburg Corporation (USA) and TOKICO Corporation (Japan). After more than 60 years since its foundation, the company changed its name to Binks Japan KK in April 2025.

With over 350 years of combined experience across its brands, Binks has developed outstanding expertise in industrial coating technologies. Bringing together leading brands such as DeVilbiss for spray guns, Ransburg for electrostatic coating, Binks for high-efficiency bellows pumps, BGK for dryers, and MS for powder coating systems, we provide advanced coating and dispensing equipment and systems to regions around the world.
